Pleasant Street Machinery is located in DeKalb, Illinois 60115 and are a commercial location with a forklift.
We specialize in solid wood processing machines and stock 20,000 sq. foot of used machines. I have 40 years of experience as a woodworker and 25 years as used equipment dealer and appraiser. I can help you choose the right woodworking equipment for your shop.
At any given time we only have about 40% of our inventory listed.

Local pickups are welcome with an appointment.
All winning bidders who are Illinois residents are required to pay 8% sales tax.
If you are tax exempt you must complete a St587 form before shipping.
Buyer is responsible for setting up freight but we are willing to help if needed.
We can recommend several freight brokers that are willing to work with our customers and we can supply you the dimensions and a weight they will need. Please keep in mind that many freight companies now are reluctant to move larger machines that are not crated. It is at the carrier’s discretion whether they think crating is needed, we have no say in their decision. The larger and taller a machine is the more likely they will require more than your average pallet. We don’t recommend using RoadRunner, Central Transport or Central Freight lines. Insurance is always recommended as we are not responsible for any damage that happens during transport.
All items that are shipped common carrier will be charged a minimum pallet fee of $75.00 for a standard size pallet up to 48” x 43”. Pallets that need to be enlarged will require a larger pallet fee. Larger machines will incur higher fees as will any requiring crating. All pallet & extra material fees will be billed separately and can be paid through PayPal or using a credit card and are subject to a 4% credit card fee.
